Kaspersky Report Highlights Hidden Detection Gaps in Enterprise Security Operations Centers
A new Kaspersky report reveals that many enterprise Security Operations Centers (SOCs) actively monitor less than half of the security data they collect, creating significant blind spots in threat detection. While organizations often measure SOC performance by response and detection speed, the study found that real-time detection logic covers only 43% of available data sources on average. The findings highlight the growing need for stronger detection engineering, regular SOC assessments, and independent consulting to improve cybersecurity visibility and resilience.
