Azizi Developments’ Burj Azizi Wins ‘Iconic Design of the Year’ at Finance World Magazine’s UAE Realty Awards 2025
Azizi Developments, a leading private real estate developer in the UAE, has been honored with the ‘Iconic Design of the Year’ award for Burj Azizi—the world’s second-tallest tower—at the UAE Realty Awards 2025, organized by Finance World Magazine. This award highlights not only the tower’s monumental stature but also its exceptional and iconic design.
The prestigious ceremony took place on 25 April 2025 at the Moorea Ballroom, Sofitel Dubai The Palm, celebrating the most groundbreaking achievements in the UAE’s real estate sector. Burj Azizi was singled out for its bold architectural form, distinctive design language, and the significant transformation it brings to Dubai’s skyline.

Scheduled for completion in 2028, Burj Azizi will rise to 725 meters and feature over 131 floors. It will offer a sophisticated mix of residential, hotel, retail, and entertainment spaces. The tower’s retail section will host an ultra-luxury mall featuring a curated selection of high-end fashion brands. The residential areas will consist of opulent one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, with every 20 floors dedicated to an amenity level offering swimming pools, sauna and steam rooms, a fully equipped gym and yoga center, a spa, games rooms with billiard, chess, and ping-pong tables, a business center, a kids’ play area, a cinema, a restaurant and coffee shop, and a supermarket.
Above the residences, an exclusive collection of luxury penthouses—ranging from one to five bedrooms—will enjoy premium access to amenities and private lobbies.
Higher up, the tower will feature an all-suite, seven-star hotel, expected to set a new standard in luxury and hospitality. Inspired by seven cultural themes—Arabic, Chinese, Persian, Indian, Turkish, French, and Russian—the hotel will feature themed restaurants and an authentic Emirati dining experience. It will also include a grand luxury ballroom and an exclusive beach club.
Burj Azizi will break multiple world records, including the highest observation deck on level 130, the highest hotel lobby on level 111, the highest nightclub on level 126, the highest restaurant on level 122, and the highest hotel room on level 118. At the pinnacle, the tower will house a museum showcasing the building’s journey, featuring multimedia displays of photographs, videos, and graphics, and honoring the personalities behind its realization.
